How to convey the emotion of poetry through an exclusively typographic layout?
This question was the starting point of Von und bis 8, a collaboration between the HKB – Bern University of the Arts and the SFGB – Bienne Visual Art School, around the creation of a poetic brochure.
In this project, the HKB students wrote the texts and the graphic design class took care of the layout of the brochure in groups of two.

In this project, the HKB students wrote the texts and the graphic design class took care of the layout of the brochure in groups of two.
With a classmate, we worked on the chapter 'Himmelsozonis' – celestial bodies. We have chosen to approach this theme by considering each text as a star within a constellation. We have decided to use the text, 'Venus', as a common thread. This text acts as an axis that connects the fragments, allowing the reader to navigate from one star to another and build the entire constellation.
